| so... halloween is once again upon us (yes, 2 months away is "upon us" to me) and the pressure is on! I'm working on costumes for kid#1 and kid#2 and the Mr. last year, kid #1 was Nacho:   
sometimes a man needs to wear his stretchy pants... and hold his momma's Gucci bag... and Mr. and I were Juno and her man: 
perfect for me because I was extra fat with baby#2 in my belly. and the year before that, kid#1 was Flava Flav. Please note her awesome baby gold blingy rings, haha:

Our little girl turned 1 this past Monday!
and in true punk fashion, she took the term "party pooper" too literally and we had to change her out of her soiled birthday outfit 10 minutes into the festivities.
and she cried... because it's her birthday and she can cry if she wants to. | | |

our teeny tiny 5-weeks too early 5-pounder has turned into a 4+month little chubster, coming in at 17.5lbs and in the 98th (!!!!) percentile for weight and height. 
I had an extra shitty case of ppd which pretty much ruined our first couple of months together. but now that that's all over with, every minute with my little fats is great. Since week 6, she's slept thru the night (10pm-6am most nights) and only wakes when I wake her to feed her. She's a giant flirt and a morning-noon-and-night person. She's happy and giggly and smiley all day long and it's hard to not be happy with her. She's effing awesome!  Want a knuckle sandwich?! 
Kylie and daddy got matching Nikes. 
I packed away all of her preemie, NB, 0-3, and 3-6 month clothes this weekend and wanted to cry for not having enjoyed her teenytinynewbornbabyness more when I had the chance. It's so true what everyone says... it goes by so, so fast. I can't believe this amazing perfect little baby was MADE IN MY BODY and came OUT OF MY LADYPARTS. isn't that cragee?! | | |

I spoke too soon... I couldn't imagine carrying baby for another 6 weeks and apparently, she couldn't imagine it either.

| 34 weeks down, 6 more to go. remember when i couldn't imagine getting any bigger, 10 weeks ago? here i am at 29 weeks...  aiyah. and 32 weeks!  total weight gain? THIRTY-MOTHER-EFFING-POUNDS. that's right.. 9 lbs the first 24 weeks and then i gained 21 lbs in 10 weeks. !!!!!! 6 more weeks... i can't possibly get any larger.... right? | | |
